Erik Jacobson of Cave Spring High School in Roanoke, VA has committed to play football for the Tigers of Hampden Sydney. Erik is a 6'5" 205lb receiver that has been honored with several post season awards including - First Team All District; First Team All Region; Honorable Mention All State; and Second Team All State as Underclassman. Before his senior season at Cave Spring he was listed as a Top 100 2010 prospects in Virginia by Virginia Preps. In addition to being a great football player, Erik was also a member of the 2009 Cave Spring State Championship Boys Basketball Team.

HSC Gains a Big Target in Erik Jacobson of Cave Spring

I've seen this kid play. He has great hands and is going to make a direct impact on our offense. Heard he was number one recruit for the Tigers this year. Hopefully he will live up to hype
